Spend an exclusive, adventurous and educational weekend in beautiful Marin County, California learning to master surfing paddling technique with professional surfing paddling coach, Rob Case.  Learn and practice the Muscle Memory Retention System used to convert the lessons into long-term sub-conscious movements.

What to Bring:

  • A mind ready to learn proven surfing paddling techniques and to have fun!
  • Surfboard you want to learn and surf on (rentals available from local surf shop for a fee.  Contact Rob at least 1 week prior to provide size of board to pick up for you)
  • Wetsuit – the ocean water year-round is between 54-60 degrees F – 4/3mm with booties is recommended (rentals available from local surf shop for a fee.  Contact Rob at least 1 week prior to provide size of wetsuit to pick up for you)
  • Swimsuit (the pool is between 80-82 degrees, the lagoon in the high mid to high 70s.), Goggles, Sunscreen
  • Optional: Bodysurfing fins, Wetsuit Top

    • Marin Airporter service from SFO to Hamilton Terminal-Ignacio ($23.00 cash only – no reservations).  Hamilton Terminal – Ignacio is across the street from the Marriott Courtyard Novato. 
    • Or arrive direct from the airport to the Marriott Courtyard, Novato using Uber or Lyft
  • Oakland International (OAK)
    • Sonoma Airporter service from OAK to San Rafael Third and Heatherton ($50.00 – buy online, reservations required), then Uber or Lyft to Marriott Courtyard, Novato (9.9 miles)

Driving – Map Marriott Courtyard 

From San Francisco and south: Head north across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge on highway 101, past the Marin Headlands to Novato, CA.  Exit Ignacio Blvd/Bel Marin Keys Blvd, turn RIGHT onto Nave Dr. LEFT onto Hamilton Parkway – Hotel is on the Left.

From Sacramento (East) and North: Head south on highway 101, Exit 459 for Ignacio Boulevard toward Bell Marin Keys Blvd/Hamilton Field.  Loop under Ignacio Blvd and then merge onto Ignacio Blvd, staying in the right lane.  Turn RIGHT onto Nave Dr. LEFT onto Hamilton Parkway – Hotel is on the Left.

Lodging Recommendations:

  • Marriott Courtyard Novato is an excellent hotel.  It is within 5 minutes from our Headquarters and across the street from the Marin Airporter mentioned above.  
    • If you stay at the Marriott, I will arrange transportation to and from headquarters every day.  
    • Otherwise, you are responsible for transporting yourself to the meeting place each day.
  • There are two other hotels close by in South Novato
  • AirBnB has numerous lodging options in area.  Search for lodging closest to Bel Marin Keys, Novato, CA.
